Oxfordshire Mind seek a housing support worker to help people with mental health needs live independently.
What you'll do
In this role you'll:
- Support people with mental health needs to live independently, helping them maintain their tenancy, build life skills and work towards their recovery goals.
- Work with residents to assess needs, manage risks and develop personalised support plans that promote wellbeing and independence.
- Help create a safe and supportive living environment by working alongside residents, services and community partners.
About you
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience supporting people with mental health needs, ideally in a housing, residential or community setting.
- Understands recovery focused support, risk management and the challenges faced by people with multiple support needs.
- Brings strong communication, organisational and relationship building skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
