North Kent Mind –  trainee children's wellbeing practitioner 

North Kent Mind seek a trainee children's wellbeing practitioner to support young people's mental health.

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

• Train to become a Children's wellbeing practitioner (CWP) while supporting children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties, including anxiety, low mod and behavioural challenges. 
• Deliver supervised evidence based interventions, carrying out assessments, guided self help and goal focused support children, young people and families.
• Combine postgraduate study with hands on clinical experience, developing your skills as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting children and young people's mental health across North Kent. 

About you

We're looking for someone who:

• Has a degree and experience working with children and young people in education, mental health, youth work or related setting.
• Is committed to completing postgraduate training and developing a career in children and young people's mental health. 
• Brings strong communication, organisational and relationship building skills, with an understanding of safeguarding and child wellbeing.
