North Kent Mind – children and young person's practitioner 

North Kent Mind seek a practitioner to support children and young people's mental health and wellbeing. 

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

  • Give one to one and group support to help children and young people improve their emotional wellbeing, build resilience and achieve their goals.
  • Deliver early intervention support in schools, community settings and online, helping children, young people and families access the right support at the right time.
  • Plan and run workshops and wellbeing activities that promote positive mental health and equip young people with practical coping strategies. 

About you

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with children and young people, including those with mental health, emotional wellbeing or additional needs. 
  • Understands safeguarding, SEND and neurodiversity, and can adapt support to meet individual needs. 
  • Brings strong communication and relationship building skills, with a person centred, strengths based and trauma informed approach.
