Mind in Brighton and Hove – service manager (community mental health advocacy) 

Mind in Brighton and Hove seek an advocacy manager to lead mental health advocacy services. 

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

• Lead and develop advocacy services that help people have their voices heard, understand their rights and access the support they need. 
• Manage and support staff volunteers, creating a positive culture focused on high quality, person centred advocacy. 
• Build strong partnerships and drive service improvement, ensuring services meet contract requirements, reflect best practice and respond to local needs. 

About you

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience managing mental health or advocacy services, with a strong commitment to service user involvement. 
• Can lead teams, manage performance and use data and feedback to improve services. 
• Brings excellent communication, partnership building and leadership skills, with an understanding of recovery focused and trauma informed approaches.
