Mind CHWF – community connector

Mind CHWF seek a community connector to help people with mental health needs access local support and thrive.

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

• Offer person-centred support to help people with complex mental health needs access community services and achieve their goals
• Build strong links with local organisations and work as part of a neighbourhood multidisciplinary team
• Carry out strengths-based assessments and use coaching techniques to promote recovery and independence

About you

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience supporting people with mental health needs in statutory or voluntary sector services
• Holds an NVQ Level 2/3 (or equivalent experience) and is IT literate, with Mental Health First Aid training desirable
• Has excellent interpersonal skills and can build trusting, person-centred relationships with people from diverse communities
