What you'll do
In this role you'll:
- Offer one to one support to people experiencing mental health crisis, helping them feel safe, heard and supported.
- Use active listening, wellbeing and de-escalation techniques to help people manage distress and build coping strategies.
- Connect people with appropriate services and community resources to support their ongoing mental health and wellbeing.
About you
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience supporting people through mental health challenges or emotionally demanding situations.
- Brings strong communication and active listening skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Is committed to person centred, inclusive support and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
