Bradford District and Craven Mind - community wellbeing worker - hospital buddies 

Bradford District and Craven Mind seek a CYP worker to support young people's wellbeing in hospital settings. 

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

• Provide one to one, child led support to children and young people in hospital helping them manage distress and uncertainty. 
• Use de-escalation, wellbeing activities and coping strategies to support emotional and mental wellbeing. 
• Work alongside hospital staff and partners to ensure joined up care and support during and after admission. 

About you

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience or qualification in youth work, mental health, social care or a related field. 
• Brings empathy and confidence in supporting children and young people in challenging situations.
• Can build trusting relationships and provide person centred, inclusive support.
