Solent Mind – peer support team leader CMHT

Solent Mind seek a peer support team leader to lead recovery focused mental health support services. 

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

• Lead a peer support team delivering safe, person centred support to people experiencing mental distress.
• Use your lived experience to model hope, recovery and empowerment while supporting people on their wellbeing journey.
• Oversee service quality, supervision and performance, ensuring strong partnerships between NHS and community services. 

About you

We're looking for someone who:

• Has lived experience of mental health challenges and can use this safely and professionally to support others.
• Has experience supervising staff, volunteers or students within a mental health, NHS or VCSE setting. 
• Brings a strong understanding of peer support, recovery, trauma informed practice and safeguarding.
