Derbyshire Mind – mental health recovery worker 

Derbyshire Mind seek a recovery worker to support people with mental health needs on their recovery journey. 

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

• Provide one to one and group support to people experiencing mental ill health, helping them build confidence and work towards their recovery goals.
• Support and guide volunteers, helping them develop their skills and make a positive contribution to the service. 
• Work with other services and organisations to help people access the support they need to improve their wellbeing and quality of life. 

About you

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience supporting people with mental health needs in a paid or voluntary capacity.
• Understands recovery focused practice, risk management and person centred support planning.
• Brings strong communication, organisational and relationship building skills, with a commitment to inclusion and teamwork.
