Why run for Mind?
Mind is the leading mental health charity in England and Wales. By joining our team, you'll help us fight for better mental health. For support, for respect, for you.
Are you ready? Here's our 3-step guide for starting your run for Mind.
Step 1: choose a run
Sign up to a local 5k, challenge yourself with a marathon overseas, or create your own running challenge – it's entirely up to you.
There are lots of organised runs you can sign up for. Find one near you and join in.
Step 2: register your event
- Once you've decided on the run you're going to do, sign up to receive a fundraising pack using the button at the top of this page. If you're running in an organised event, make sure you've registered with the organisers first.
- Once you've registered for a fundraising pack, make a JustGiving page and ask your family, friends, colleagues and loved ones to donate.
- Check out some of our fundraising tips to boost your donations.
- Meet your fellow #TeamMind runners on our dedicated running Facebook group.
Step 3: get support from Mind

- A digital welcome pack full of fundraising tips and advice
- Regular email updates
- The chance to receive a Mind running vest and cheer sticks for your loved ones to support you on the day
