Styleguide FOR mind.org.uk

Accessibility

We would like the information and services that we provide at Mind to be as accessible to as many people as possible. Visitors to the site are diverse in many ways. This includes their emotional state when viewing content, and their abilities and methods of accessing content.

To this end components and page templates have been created to ensure a high level of accessibility.

For example:

  • Page layouts are clear and easy to visually navigate.
  • Links clearly indicate their destination; no “read more” copy.
  • Colour is never used alone to convey information. We take into account non-visual users and visual users who cannot access colour.
