Share your feedback
As a charity, we’re always learning so we can best support all the people who need us. That’s why your feedback is so important to us.
We’d love to know what you think, and if there’s something you’re not happy with, we’ll do our best to work on it and improve.
We'll always get in touch to let you know the outcome of your feedback if you’ve provided your contact details. Please complete one of our online forms, depending on the nature of your feedback:
If your feedback is for one of our local Minds
Local Minds are independent charities and are responsible for their own feedback and complaints. Search by postcode on our local Minds directory to find the one you’re looking for and send your feedback to them directly.
How we look after complaints
If you make a complaint about someone at Mind or our work, we promise to handle that with care. We will:
- Always treat you with courtesy and respect
- Take your complaint seriously and investigate it thoroughly
- Take every complaint as an opportunity to learn and make sure any mistakes are not repeated
- Make sure your complaint is handled by the right person, or department
- Keep you up to date about the progress and outcome of your complaint
- Maintain the confidentiality of your personal and sensitive information in line with data protection responsibilities
- Take additional measures to ensure the safety of children under 18, or adults at risk when a complaint relates to a safeguarding concern
- Keep our complaints process fair and easy to access.
If you contact us anonymously, we’ll still look into your complaint in the same way, but we won’t be able to contact you with the outcome.
What to do if you’re unhappy with our response to a complaint
You have the right to contact the following organisations if you’re unsatisfied with how we’ve handled your complaint:
- The Charity Commission for England and Wales for general complaints
- The Fundraising Regulator for fundraising complaints
- The Information Commissioner’s Office for personal data complaints.
