Oxfordshire Mind – wellbeing manager: primary care

The primary care team manager will lead a team to provide a high quality, effective one-to-one wellbeing service via GP practices. You'll work using a social prescribing model. 

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

• Effectively manage, supervise, and develop staff to achieve their full potential
• Effectively manage, continuously improve and develop the service
• Offer guidance and support to staff, making day-to-day decisions and encouraging a reflective approach to their work
• Lead on the resourcing, administration and safe day-to-day delivery of service
• Recruit and induct new members of staff

About you

We're looking for someone with:

• Knowledge and understanding of mental health issues, and the needs of people living with mental health problems
• Knowledge and application of good practice in safeguarding children and adults
• Experience of leadership and/or management
• Experience of external networking and internal collaboration with colleagues
• Experience of managing risk
