Oxfordshire Mind – wellbeing manager: primary care
The primary care team manager will lead a team to provide a high quality, effective one-to-one wellbeing service via GP practices. You'll work using a social prescribing model.
What you'll do
In this role you'll:
- Effectively manage, supervise, and develop staff to achieve their full potential
- Effectively manage, continuously improve and develop the service
- Offer guidance and support to staff, making day-to-day decisions and encouraging a reflective approach to their work
- Lead on the resourcing, administration and safe day-to-day delivery of service
- Recruit and induct new members of staff
About you
We're looking for someone with:
- Knowledge and understanding of mental health issues, and the needs of people living with mental health problems
- Knowledge and application of good practice in safeguarding children and adults
- Experience of leadership and/or management
- Experience of external networking and internal collaboration with colleagues
- Experience of managing risk
