Crafternoon - let it sew, let it sew, let it sew!

Crafternoon means getting together with friends, family or colleagues to hold an afternoon of crafting and raise money for Mind – a fun way to help us be there for everyone with a mental health problem.

A Christmas Crafternoon means all of the above, but also cracking out the mince pies, your favourite jumper and getting into the festive spirit with your crafts; whether it's making your own xmas cards, crocheting decorations or sewing seasonal bunting.

Crafting gives me a huge sense of satisfaction. It helps me feel productive and also acts as a distraction when needed. All of which is really important for my mental wellbeing.

Is it for me?

Of course! Anyone can be creative and our Crafternoon pack includes festive crafting ideas for beginners right up to advanced crafters. It's all about having a go, having fun and not worrying too much about the mess or the finished product. Most importantly it's about raising money to help us make sure that no one has to face a mental health problem alone.

We'll give you fundraising advice too. We suggest the easiest way to raise money is by asking your guests to make a donation to attend your Crafternoon.

Once you've registered for Crafternoon, you're part of the Crafternoonity and we hope you'll join the Facebook group so you can meet fellow Crafternooners online, ask them questions and share advice and ideas about your crafting and fundraising.

If you like we’ll also keep in touch with you in the run up to your Christmas Crafternoon with enewsletters full of even more tips, ideas and crafting news.
