Partnering with Mind

At Mind one of our core values is Together; we know we are stronger in partnership. Through championing this value we have developed many different ways of working with partners. Take a look at the examples below and see which best suits your ambitions.

We also know all companies, and therefore all partnerships, are unique. If you want to discuss something a bit different to what we’ve done before, then please do get in touch. Our partnerships team are also committed to Mind’s other values – Open, Responsive, Independent and Unstoppable.

How can we work together?

Staff fundraising and strategic partnerships

Staff fundraising or “Charity of the Year” partnerships

Host memorable events, take on inspiring challenges, boost company culture and comradery, all while raising vital funds to support Mind. Your company could host a series of engaging staff fundraising activities over the course of a year, or several years. And every fundraising activity has the added benefit of raising awareness and tackling stigma.

We will support you with partnership planning, engaging your staff, providing fundraising ideas, donation details, fundraising materials and packs, internal comms and more!

Strategic

Align your company’s strategic objectives with Mind’s own strategy. Through committing your resources and with cross-team support from Mind, you can play a key role in empowering those of us experiencing a mental health problem to get support and respect. Through a corporate gift, or combination of donation and staff fundraising, your company could fund or develop a specific area of Mind’s work.

A strategic partnership can also focus on using your company’s resources to help us reach our priority audiences and provide more people with mental health problems the information and support they need.

Brand and commercial partnerships

Use the power of your brand to support Mind. You could take a hero product to the next level by selling it ‘in aid of Mind’, with each item sold generating a donation to Mind. Or you could run a campaign, supported by Mind, to raise awareness of mental health.

However you choose to work with us, by aligning Mind’s brand with your own you’ll be contributing to our goals, while showing your audiences you understand that mental health matters, more now than ever.

For brand partnerships using our logo externally, we will provide expert communications and media support to get your campaign off the ground, as well as a dedicated Account Manager. Please note that all brand partnerships using our logo need a minimum fundraising target to be underwritten by the partner; the target level reflecting the brand exposure and Mind resource.

Volunteering and expertise sharing

As a rapidly growing charity with more demand than ever for our services, Mind needs more than funding; we need strategic support from experts in their respective fields. This can range across tools, processes, equipment, strategies, programmes, ways of working and more. We can discuss the possibility of pro bono or gift in kind support when you contact us about a partnership.

Outside of a formal partnership, your staff can also volunteer as individuals. Volunteering at Mind can be a really rewarding and impactful experience. With options at Mind HQ, our local Minds and Mind shops, there's probably more ways of doing it than you might think.

Local Minds

For many companies, having a local link is important. If your company is based in one area, and doesn’t operate nationally, then we recommend supporting your local Mind.

Our local Minds support hundreds of thousands of people across England and Wales, through a huge range of services that reflect the needs of the communities they serve. Each local Mind is an independent charity run by local people, for local people.
