West Sussex Mind - Staying Well Worthing Peer Support Worker

About the role

We are looking for an individual who has a passion and interest in mental health and some experience in this area through employment or volunteering. We particularly encourage applications from people who have personal lived experiences of having mental health challenges and using mental health services themselves.

As a Peer Support Worker, you will contribute to and lead on the delivery of face to face and remote support to support individuals across West Sussex. You will work closely with other Peer Support Workers and Mental Health Workers within your team to enable individuals to manage their mental health out of hours by feeling and listened to and valued in the moment.
