West Sussex Mind - Mental Health Community Outreach & Development Worker (Polish Community)

About the role

This is an exciting new development in our Equality Diversity and Inclusion work-plan. We are wishing to recruit a person with a strong background in community development, to reach out, recruit volunteers and develop plans and activities to fulfil our goal of a greater connection and collaboration with the Polish Community in Worthing.

The role will increase engagement of the Polish community in all our Mental Health services with a developed understanding of how we can achieve this. We would like to work with existing groups to support polish people accessing mental health support and challenge stigma.

The person will be fluent in Polish, both written and verbally and ideally be locally and actively connected to the Polish community in the area.
