Time to Change Wales is looking for a Programme Manager to cover a maternity period until March 2022. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an individual to lead Wales’ national and award-winning anti-stigma campaign towards the successful delivery of its core objectives.
The programme has recently secured a 12-month funding extension from Welsh Government for the continuation of our work until March 2022. In addition continuing our core work, we will pilot and test new areas of work including working more closely with Black, Asian and Minority ethnic communities and in areas of poverty and deprivation in Wales. This role will continue the work which has already been initiated by the existing post-holder and to see it through to its successful completion.
The role will also involve input and coordination of the bidding process which will aim to secure longer-term funding for the Time to Change Wales campaign. You will manage a small and dedicated team based across Mind Cymru and Adferiad Recovery (Hafal) offices in Wales providing the team with support and leadership in order to deliver the programme’s maximum potential.
We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate the following skills and experience:
Excellent team management skills. You will be leading a team of 8 Time to Change Wales staff providing excellent leadership towards improving our footprint in Wales particularly amongst new audiences.
Experience of managing multi-channel marketing campaigns at national level
Experience of high-level stakeholder management and the ability to effectively communicate a vision.
Demonstrable experience of partnership working with a broad range of diverse partners.
Experience of project and programme management and working in a matrix style environment across teams from other departments
We are looking for an individual who can hit the ground running in this role and make a lasting difference to our work of tackling mental health stigma in Wales.
Closing date: 12 noon, 7th June 2021
This position will initially, in line with current government guidance be based from home, with an expectation of being home based for the next six months or until updated government guidelines are published. However, if/when government guidelines change the role may then revert to being office based, whilst retaining some flexible working options.
