About the role

Background – Alexandra Wellbeing House offers a short-term retreat for up to six people per stay. People accessing the service are aged 18+ and are at risk of or are experiencing acute emotional distress associated with a mental health problem (whether formally diagnosed or not).

Job Purpose – As a Wellbeing Lead you will be leading a small staff team ensuring that the needs of the people accessing the service are met during their stay. With guidance from the management team, you will be a key collaborator ensuring that people accessing the service are supported efficiently and effectively in line with the service operational policy and specification. You will line manage the Wellbeing Practitioners to ensure that people accessing the service receive high standards of support.

Working Pattern – The service is open 365 days a year and operates with 24/7 coverage, therefore the successful candidate will be required to be available for on-call duties and some Bank Holidays. The successful candidates working during the ‘Day’ or ‘Eve’ period which ranges from 7:30AM to 3:30PM (Day), 3PM to 11PM (Eve) and 11PM to 8AM (Nights).
