About the role

Mind Cymru has an exciting maternity cover opportunity for someone to continue to develop our policy and campaigning work in order to improve the lives of people living with mental health problems. This is at a time when the profile of mental health has never been higher both politically and in terms of the general public. This role is an opportunity to build on our work in evidencing and developing policy positions, engage partner organisations to drive change and advocate for a shift in how people with mental health problems are supported.

We are looking for someone with experience of policy and campaigning work at a senior level, preferably within the mental health field, who is able to manage a range of projects and is committed to ensuring all people experiencing mental health problems have the best possible outcomes. The role sits within the Policy and Campaigns team at Mind Cymru with frequent contact with all parts of the organisation in Cardiff, London and across our local Mind network.
