Mental health is receiving more political attention than ever before. Now we’re looking for a passionate campaigner to join our Policy and Campaigns team.
Mind’s army of campaigners has grown substantially in the last two years, and we’re in a really good position to campaign for improvements to local mental health services and supports, and to national policies and legislation.
Are you an experienced campaigner who can deliver our ambitious campaigning strategy? You’d need to ensure our campaigners are given every opportunity to be involved with Mind’s work. You’d work across the organisation to help our network of Local Minds develop their ability to influence locally including piloting our approach to Community Organising.
You’ll work closely with staff across our External Relations department, our local Mind network, and other departments in Mind both in England and Wales. You’ll need significant experience of working in campaigns and a good understanding of political decision making processes and health and disability policy, as well as a commitment to Mind’s mission and values
Closing Date for this position is 12:00 (noon), 27 February 2018
The interviews for this role will take place on 8 March 2018
Mind is an equal opportunities employer.
