About the role

We’re looking for volun-cheerers to help support our cyclists with some motivational cheering and encouragement. It’ll be fabulous to have you as part of the team!

The amazing Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 takes place on Sunday 4 August. It is set to be a great day with a fantastic atmosphere as thousands of dedicated cyclists take on this incredible cycling challenge following a 100-mile route on closed roads through the capital and into Surrey’s stunning countryside.

Over 300 cyclists are taking part on behalf of Mind. Our wonderful cyclists are raising funds to help us be there for everyone who’s stressed, depressed or in crisis. We want to ensure they have the best day and your cheers will help motivate them on their way. Join us and help make sure no one has to face a mental health problem alone.

No experience necessary. We’re looking for enthusiastic, friendly people who are happy to get involved and cheer loudly for Mind!

We will provide you with cheering accessories and a Mind t-shirt on the day so all you’ll need to do is turn up ready to cheer and have a fun time!

We’re looking for people to cheer with us at our cheer point (roughly miles 25/ 85) along the course:

We will be based near Kingston Grammar School, London Road, Kingston upon Thames, KT2 6PY

  • 7.00am – 12.00pm
  • 12.00pm – 17.15pm

If you are only available for a couple of hours during these time slots, we’d still love to have you help us cheer on our amazing cyclists. We look forward to you joining us at this fantastic event!

What are we looking for?

Enthusiastic, friendly people with a willingness to cheer.

Practical Considerations

We’ll send through full details with a map and contact on the day.
Bear in mind transport is likely to be busier than normal as it’s an event day. There will be road closures for the route.
If you have a friends or family who would also like to join, then we’d love to welcome them to the group too.

How to apply?

If you are interested to volunteer, please email [email protected] and we will send you more information.
