About the role

We’re Mind, the mental health charity. We won’t give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect. We provide advice and support to empower anybody experiencing a mental health problem and we campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding. 

Mind employs over 400 staff and we have a team of volunteers. Most staff are based in Stratford, London, there is an office in Cardiff and there are a number of dispersed staff working across England and Wales.

The Network Events Senior Officer will:

-          Lead the delivery of key Network Facing events, including Mind’s Network Leaders Conference.

-          Support colleagues across Mind to develop, deliver and evaluate events for the benefit of the Mind Network.

-          Coordinate the 100s of Mind network events into a Network events plan.

-          Line manage the Network Events Coordinator

The post is based in the Network Unit and reports to the Network Operations Manager. Mind has a federated charity model in which independent local Mind associations across England and Wales are affiliated to Mind via a Community Partnership Agreement. Mind and local Minds play different roles but local Minds share Mind’s values and core mission to ensure that anyone with a mental health problem gets both support and respect.
