This role will support families and carers of those affected by drug and alcohol use. They will involve Friends Family and Carers in service users' recovery, empowering friends, family and carers. They will secure their wellbeing and develop positive, sustainable support networks, protecting people from harm.
Mind in the City, Hackney and Waltham Forest, working in partnership with Turning Point and Antidote, provide the City and Hackney Recovery service. The service is based in each of City and Hackney’s neighbourhoods in order to be accessible, local and inclusive.
This full integrated service contributes to recovery, social inclusion and improving the quality of life of all our service users in the City of London and Hackney borough. It's shaped by community needs, as well as service users, carers, families, staff and volunteers.
