About the role

Mind in Camden are seeking a Mental Health Welfare Rights Development Worker to join our new core team within Camden. You’ll be responsible for maintaining up-to-date welfare rights information, supporting colleagues with challenging welfare cases and ensuring that the team is equipped to support people with welfare rights issues and linked up with other welfare rights providers. 

The role requires someone who has excellent knowledge of welfare rights legislation with a good awareness of how individuals with mental health needs access welfare support, as well as the challenges faced. You will have a keen interest in welfare accessibility, specifically surrounding mental health and have an embodied person-centred approach to mental health recovery work
