Will you join us?
The Major Giving Officer will join a dynamic team which contributes over £1m to Mind’s fundraising income, with ambitions to grow. Mental health is an increasingly important and relevant charitable cause for philanthropists. You will play a vital role in enabling philanthropists to provide life-changing mental health support to millions of people.
You will be responsible for managing a mixed portfolio of donors and prospects. Alongside the Major Giving team, you will work in close collaboration to create compelling proposals, special events and communications. You will oversee the thanking and banking ensuring all major gift donations are thanked quickly and recorded accurately on financial systems.
You will also work with other teams and stakeholders at Mind to ensure we are maximising cross-working opportunities, drawing on the huge interest in mental health to provide first class stewardship to current supporters as well as be proactive in developing new relationships with prospects.

This position will initially, in line with current and potentially future guidance, be based from home. Post lock-down this role will retain some flexibility but post holders will be expected to be in the office a minimum of two days thereafter (or more, depending on the arrangements of your team)
