In partnership with Mind and the Coop. Llanelli Mind are setting up an exciting and innovative new children and young people’s project primarily based in Llanelli and in surrounding villages within Carmarthenshire.
The project will run mainly during evenings after school and college and at weekends. The aim of the service is to provide a place whereby children and young people between the ages of 11 years – 24 years can access a range of support focussed on the 5 Steps to wellbeing to build and strengthen the resilience within the community. Offering a safe space for individuals at risk of deteriorating mental health, who may require individual support and advice, or wish to access help through the provision of activities. The focus for all aspects of the service is a holistic person centred approach.
We are looking for a dynamic and committed team who can help set up, develop and establish this exciting new service. Recruiting experienced, creative and resilient Coordinator.
Llanelli Mind have a strong reputation, we have been delivering highly effective models of mental health support for over 35 years. Focussing on, aiding recovery and resilience for people in a range of community settings.
