About the role

The Mental Health Recovery Pathway (MHRP) is a mental health provision based across three sites in Islington responding to the mental health needs of Islington residents; it offers two pathways – The Integrated Community Support (ICS), providing day service opportunities for people with Low and Medium Preventative Care Needs and The Structured Integrated Support (SIS) for people with Higher and more complex needs.

Reporting to: The Integrated Community Support (ICS) manager

The Out of Hours Crisis café support worker Job purpose: To develop, organise, facilitate and oversee the Mental Health Recovery Pathway ICS’s Out of Hours Crisis Café provisions, including facilitating a therapeutic our of hours space with activities, managing risk and safeguarding issues and supporting mental health service users in crisis.

Hours of work: 35 hours per week - 5 – 10 on weekdays and 10:30 – 14:30 on Saturdays and on Sundays + 2 hours supervision in liaison with ICS manager

Salary: £26,600  (Scale 6 point 26 of the National Local Government payscales)
