Mind, the mental health charity, is looking for an exceptional media relations professional for a challenging and rewarding role leading its Media team.
With public awareness of mental health higher than ever before, there’s never been a more exciting time to join Mind. We’re growing and changing fast, but there’s still much to be done.
You will be responsible for developing and delivering Mind’s ambitious Media and PR strategy, overseeing impactful media campaigns, managing relationships with journalists, delivering the prestigious Mind Media Awards and establishing contacts with celebrities and influencers.
Your work raising and strengthening the profile of the organisation will play an essential role in helping Mind further its reach and impact and ambition to support and empower anyone living with a mental health problem.
You should thrive working in a fast paced environment, be confident leading a high performing Media and PR team and be adept at crisis management when needed.
You will need to be a consummate networker, with excellent communication skills, a good news sense and strong contacts across the media spectrum.
