Mind is looking for a practising lawyer with experience of strategic litigation to head up our small but influential legal team to fight for the legal rights of people with mental health problems as part of our enthusiastic External Relations team. You will have at least 3 years post-qualification experience or equivalent experience to fulfil Solicitor’s Regulation Authority requirements. You will bring significant public law experience and working knowledge of areas of law affecting people with mental health problems. You will supervise all Mind’s external legal activity across England and Wales, contributing to Mind’s campaigns through strategic litigation, overseeing the production of legal information and Mind’s outsourced legal helpline, which responds to around 16,000 enquiries each year.
