We won’t give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets both support and respect. We provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. We campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.
Mind provides information, advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. Last year, our information and support was accessed more than 18 million times – but we’re ambitious to do more.
We’re looking for a Head of Content to lead the development of our online and print information and be a source of mental health expertise across Mind and beyond.
You’ll be able to evidence a commitment to supporting people through the provision of high-quality, timely and format-appropriate information.
As part of a job share, you will need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, and be a natural and empathetic team player. A strong understanding of mental health problems – be that through personal experience, or previous job role – would be highly desirable.
This position will initially, in line with current and potentially future guidance, be based from home. Post lockdown this role will retain some flexibility but post holders will be expected to be in the office a minimum of two days thereafter (or more, depending on the arrangements of your team)
We value the power of diversity. We embrace the different perspectives that each of us bring. We are committed to becoming truly anti-racist in everything we do and ensuring that all our employees are treated fairly and equitably at work and promoting equity in physical and mental health for all.
