About the role

Time to Change is an ambitious programme to end the stigma and discrimination faced by people with mental health problems.

 The Head of Community Leadership (Time to Change) will lead a programme across England to support ‘champions’ with experience of mental health problems and local statutory and voluntary sector partners, to come together to challenge mental health discrimination in society. The programme will be supporting these partners to work towards sustainability.

You will have expertise in leading community led initiatives that empower local people and in developing effective partnerships. You will have a track record in developing strategy, be an experienced programme manager and have the ability to motivate a remotely based team to deliver ambitious targets.

Mind aims to ensure that the needs and interests of mental health service users, women, black and minority ethnic communities, disabled people, lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and people of all ages are reflected in all its activities.  You will be expected to work towards this aim.
