About the role

We won’t give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets both support and respect. We provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. We campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.

Fixed Term Contract – 12 Months Permanent - 35 Hours

Will you join us?

The Community and Events Fundraising team designs and delivers memorable fundraising experiences that raises millions of pounds and turns one-time participants in to lifetime supporters.

As a Fundraising Officer in the Products Fundraising team you'll:

  • support the delivery of fundraising activity
  • create incredible supporter experiences for our participants, ensuring our supporters are at the heart of everything we do
  • support the delivery of a portfolio of in person and virtual products that are designed and delivered by Mind. This includes Move for Mind, Switch off, Game on, 2727, and The Mind Walk.

You'll need:

  • experience of managing volunteer fundraisers to exceed income targets

  • experience of delivering excellent supporter experiences through multiple channels

  • experience of managing relationships with stakeholders internally and externally to achieve an outcome

  • experience of planning, prioritising and organising work to ensure objectives are reached when working across multiple priorities at once

  • experience of reporting on performance of fundraising activity and making recommendations for improvements as a result.

This position will initially, in line with current and potentially future guidance, be based from home. Post lockdown this role will retain some flexibility but post holders will be expected to be in the office a minimum of two days a week (or more, depending on the arrangements of your team).
