Fundraising Officer - Events

About the role

We won’t give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets both support and respect. We provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. We campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.

Hours: 35 hours per week, but we’re open to flexibility

Together we’ll be working to make sure everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets the support and respect they deserve.

The Community and Events Fundraising team designs and delivers memorable fundraising experiences that raises millions of pounds and turns one-time participants in to lifetime supporters.

As a Fundraising Officer in the Events team you will support the delivery of fundraising activity and create incredible supporter experiences for our participants ensuring our supporters are at the heart of everything we do.

You will need:

  • Experience of managing events to exceed income targets

  • Experience of delivering excellent supporter experiences through multiple channels

  • Experience of managing relationships with stakeholders internally and externally to achieve an outcome

  • Experience of planning, prioritising and organising work to ensure objectives are reached when working across multiple priorities at once

  • Experience of reporting on performance of fundraising activity and making recommendations for improvements as a result.

This position will initially, in line with current government guidance be based from home, with an expectation of being home based for the next six months or until updated government guidelines are published. However, if/when government guidelines change the role may then revert to being office based, whilst retaining some flexible working options.
