We won’t give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets both support and respect. We provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. We campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.
Mind Cymru’s purpose is to lead Mind’s work in Wales and to ensure that our impact is strong in both nations. Mind has a federated structure of Local Mind delivery organisations of which there are 20 in Wales.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Mind Cymru on a fixed term maternity cover as an Executive Assistant to the Director of Mind Cymru, with responsibility for the effective running of the Director’s office, managing diaries and key meetings and coordinating briefings on key areas of policy.
You will manage a busy schedule that involves the co-ordination of corporate and other work activities being carried out across the organisation and have the interpersonal and organisational skills required to do this professionally and in accordance with Mind’s values.
With proven experience in a high level administrative, personal assistant or advisor role, you will have excellent written skills (English and Welsh is desirable but not essential), as well as all round communications skills, particularly the ability to communicate clearly and concisely to a range of audiences. The ability to work on own initiative without daily supervision and to be able to prioritise work effectively and manage multiple tasks across a complex organisation is essential for this role.
This position will initially, in line with current and potentially future guidance, be based from home. Post lockdown this role will retain some flexibility but post holders will be expected to be in the office a minimum of two days thereafter (or more, depending on the arrangements of your team)
