Derbyshire Mind - Finance Manager

About the role

Derbyshire Mind is one of a federated network of local Mind charities across the country. Our focus is on improving mental health and wellbeing for people across Derbyshire and Derby City. We provide a range of advocacy and community wellbeing services designed to support people with mental health problems as well as the wider population. We are committed to developing innovative and responsive services which further promote mental health awareness and wellbeing.

Are you a highly committed, dynamic individual wanting to make a difference and support the improvement of mental wellbeing in Derbyshire?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled individual to lead the development and delivery of the Finance function for Derbyshire Mind.

The successful candidate will have a professional accountancy qualification and/or at least three years experience of working in a financial management role, preferably in a charitable/voluntary organisation. They will have excellent analytical and IT skills, strong numeracy, literacy and report writing skills, as well as an enthusiastic, committed approach and personal resilience. The role will be based at one of Derbyshire Mind’s office sites in Derby/Chesterfield, with occasional travel across Derbyshire and within the UK.
