About the role

Fixed Term Contract until 30th September 2021

We’re Mind, the mental health charity. We won’t give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect. We provide advice and support to empower anybody experiencing a mental health problem and we campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.

We are looking to recruit a creative and motivated individual to support the fundraising strand of our flagship corporate partnership with Co-op which launched in October 2019. We are aiming to raise £6million to help improve the mental wellbeing of communities across the UK, working alongside SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health) in Scotland and Inspire in Northern Ireland. This partnership also includes a high-profile advocacy piece, innovative research programme and new community mental health services.

Reporting to the Senior Account Manager, this varied role will see you providing vital administrative and fundraising support including some account management to directly support Co-op colleagues in their fundraising efforts. You will play a key role in the team, managing the hotline for all partner queries, managing the availability and distribution of fundraising materials and supporting fundraising communications. You will also be expected to contribute to a variety of activities involving building relationships with other teams at Mind as well as working collaboratively with colleagues at SAMH and Inspire to ensure a true four nation approach to fundraising. This role will involve maintaining and developing systems and databases for the partnership, providing vital administration for the fundraising finances, and supporting the writing of reports.

Candidates will have experience of working in an administrative role within a busy office, organising and priortising your own workload, whilst dealing with a variety of people on the telephone and in person, providing excellent customer service at all times. With good IT skills and a strong attention to detail, you will have experience of using databases, setting up and maintaining efficient filing systems, coupled with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
