About the role

Mind Cymru has an exciting maternity cover opportunity for a new person to help drive forward our work with children and young people as our Children and Young People Manager. This role is central to delivering and developing our children and young people strategy, particularly continuing to develop our policy and campaigning approach, engaging stakeholders and involving children and young people in our work. We are looking for someone with experience of policy and campaigning work at a senior level, preferably within the children policy or mental health areas, who is able to manage a range of projects and is committed to ensuring all children and young people experiencing mental health problems have the best possible outcomes. The role sits within our wider Policy and Campaigns team at Mind Cymru with frequent contact with all parts of the organisation in Cardiff, London and across our local Mind network.
