Are you forward thinking, innovative, inspirational and have a desire to improve the lives of people living with mental ill health?
If so, we would welcome your application to become the CEO of Norfolk and Waveney Mind.
Trustees aim to recruit an energetic and dynamic individual who will be responsible for leading the Charity. Mental health services are in a state of flux nationally and locally and the CEO will be key to seeking new opportunities to improve accessibility and service provision in collaboration with statutory and other partners.
Norfolk and Waveney Mind will be created in July 2019 by the merger of Norwich and Central Norfolk Mind, Great Yarmouth & Waveney Mind and West Norfolk Mind. The CEO will be able to shape the integration of the three Minds. The vision of the trustees is to cultivate an organisation which builds on the success of the three predecessor charities by listening to and supporting service users; acting as an advocate for those with mental ill health influencing the way mental health services are provided within the local community and nationally; and accessing new sources of income.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate that they are highly skilled in strategic leadership, organisational development, partnership working, change management and negotiating at local, regional and national level, as well as being an excellent communicator who has worked at senior level.
