About the role

Bromley, Lewisham & Greenwich Mind is a highly regarded, innovative local Charity working alongside people with mental health problems and dementia to improve their quality of life. With an annual turnover of more than £4m, over 150 staff and 200 volunteers, we are one of the largest charities in the Mind network.

Lewisham Community Wellbeing is led by BLG Mind and delivered in partnership with Lewisham Refugee & Migrant Network, Sydenham Garden, Metro and SLaM. The service provides recovery-focused individual support to help people develop their independence and self-management skills, to achieve their personal goals.

We are now recruiting for a full time Senior Mental Wellbeing Adviser to play an important part in delivering and developing this exciting service. You will have the caseload management experience and skills to deliver focused, person-centred, individual support and Information, Advice and Guidance on a wide range of social issues including welfare benefits, housing issues, debt, consumer rights, employment, and social networks. You will also run structured workshops.

You will be working closely with the Service Manager and will be required to manage and support a team of Mental Wellbeing Advisors.

Successful applicants will be expected to undergo an Enhanced Level Disclosure and Barring Service check
