Bromley, Lewisham & Greenwich Mind - Senior IPS Employment Specialists x 2

About the role

Bromley, Lewisham & Greenwich Mind is a highly regarded local charity, helping people to be mentally healthy and working together with those experiencing mental health problems and dementia to improve their quality of life. With an annual turnover of £5M, over 150 staff and 200 volunteers, we are one of the largest charities in the Mind network

The IPS (Individual Placement and Support) Employment Service helps people living with mental health issues to find paid employment and financial independence. As part of the NHS England initiative to expand access to evidenced-based IPS services, we are delighted to be growing our team across both Bromley and Greenwich. We are currently seeking 2 full time Senior IPS Employment Specialists to work alongside the Community Mental Health Team within Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust.

As well as managing a small caseload of clients, you will be supporting and motivating a team of Employment Specialists; providing supervision, training, and role modelling of the IPS approach. You will also spend time building productive relationships with employers to identify and negotiate job opportunities in the hidden labour market.

The ability to network in the local community and build strong relationships is essential for this role.
