About the role

Bromley, Lewisham & Greenwich Mind is a highly regarded local charity, helping people to be mentally healthy and working together with those experiencing mental health problems and dementia to improve their quality of life. With an annual turnover of £4M, over 150 staff and 260 volunteers, we are one of the largest charities in the Mind network.

Bromley Well helps people living in Bromley borough to improve and maintain their health and wellbeing. We are seeking a Mental Health Triage Advisor to support the processing of mental health referrals received through the Bromley Well Single Point of Access (SPA), and other external partners including the Primary Care Network, Bromley Healthcare and Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust.

We are looking for people with experience of completing triage assessments for adults experiencing a range of mental health and social care problems. Applicants should have experience of managing a diverse caseload within a busy work environment, and possess effective skills in communication (verbal and written), with skills in planning, organising and prioritisation. An ability to work independently, to be proactive and show initiative is essential for this role.
