Bromley, Lewisham & Greenwich Mind, Marketing & Communications Officer

About the role

Bromley, Lewisham & Greenwich Mind is a highly regarded local charity, working alongside people with mental health problems and dementia to improve their quality of life. With an annual turnover of £4M, over 150 staff and 260 volunteers, we are one of the largest charities in the Mind network.

We are looking for a creative individual who can help to increase awareness of our growing organisation by extending our reach and strengthening our brand as a local charity in an increasingly competitive arena.

You will have some experience of working in a communications role and will have strong skills in creative copywriting, graphic design and an understanding of the tools used in marketing including social media platforms.

You will know how to connect with the different audiences that we serve whilst taking responsibility for ensuring that our communications are meaningful, appropriate and effective.

With excellent interpersonal skills you will be expected to build strong relationships across the workforce and make the organisation’s business your business!

In order to manage a workload with competing priorities, you must be well organised yet adaptable to meet the needs of BLG Mind and our service users.

Applicants must be flexible as this post will involve some travel and working hours may vary accordingly.
