Bromley, Lewisham & Greenwich Mind - Fundraising and Engagement Manager

About the role

Bromley, Lewisham & Greenwich Mind is a highly regarded local charity, helping people to be mentally healthy and working together with those experiencing mental health problems and dementia to improve their quality of life. With an annual turnover of £7M, over 150 staff and 200 volunteers, we are one of the largest charities in the Mind network.

As a registered charity, engaging people to fundraise for us and make donations is important to our financial stability and enables us to provide services and be there when it matters for people with mental health problems and dementia in Bromley, Lewisham and Greenwich.

We are looking for an outgoing, dynamic and innovative individual to join our Development Team and take the reins with fundraising, assisting us to reach our full potential.

You will have proven experience of leading fundraising initiatives, understand the different ways that people make donations and provide support, and be adept at engaging different audiences.

To complement this, you will need to be an excellent communicator with an understanding of how to use and write for social media channels and websites.  You’ll also be an influencer with a can-do attitude.

The ability to be flexible is essential as this post may require that your hours are sometimes worked during evenings and weekends as determined by fundraising events.
