Bromley, Lewisham & Greenwich Mind - Administrator (Recovery College)

About the role

Bromley Recovery College, part of BLG Mind’s Recovery Works service, runs a curriculum of free peer and professional-led courses across the borough. Our workshops and courses combine enjoyment, fun and knowledge to enable students to achieve a greater insight into their own mental wellbeing and gain skills to help them achieve personal goals and ambitions.

We are looking for someone with exceptional administrative skills to work closely with the Principal and Deputy Principal to support the work of the Recovery College.  You will have experience of client-facing administrative work. You will need to be organised and have the confidence to communicate effectively with a range of people.

A flexible can-do attitude and a calm, problem-solving approach are also essential for this role. If you have what it takes we would love to hear from you. We recognise the importance of having a diverse and inclusive work force, and would therefore particularly welcome applications from the following, currently under-represented, groups:

  • People from culturally diverse communities
  • People aged 16-25
  • Disabled people
  • People with diverse sexual orientations and gender identities

BLG Mind is committed to meeting the reasonable adjustments of disabled people and always welcomes applications from people with lived experience of mental health problems.

How to apply

Please apply via our website: https://blgmind.org.uk/job/administrator-recovery-college/

Closing date: Wednesday 9th February (11:59pm)
Likely interview date: Week beginning 21st February

BLG Mind offers flexibility for hybrid working (some days at home and some in the office) where this supports staff wellbeing and fits with the needs of clients and the charity. As a people-focused organisation, we expect all staff to spend regular time at their work base as part of these arrangements.
