Sue said:
"We welcome today’s announcement of an extra £100m investment in mental health in Wales. The Welsh Government have acknowledged that the last few years has had a significant impact on the mental health of people in Wales, with some groups experiencing a much greater impact than others, including children and young people.
"We know that mental health services are under increased pressure due in part to the pandemic and that there are significant waiting times across the country. This investment has to drive a step change in how quickly people can access support at all levels. We look forward to hearing more detail on how this extra funding will be used, particularly in providing earlier support, tackling stigma and addressing inequalities of access and experiences present in the mental health system in Wales."
