What issues does Mind Cymru campaign on?
General election
The 2024 election is a pivotal moment. We’re calling on whoever forms the next UK government to make sure everyone gets the support they need, when they need it.
Moving to adult services
The move from child to adult services is leaving many isolated and ignored. Our Sort the Switch campaign is fighting for a system change.
Stroke survivors' mental health
Only 3% of stroke survivors with a mental health problem receive support when they need it most. We're working with Stroke Association to change this.
Benefits
The welfare system isn't working for people with mental health problems. We’re campaigning to make sure that benefits help people to live with independence and dignity.
Stigma
We’re working to end stigma and discrimination for people with mental health problems. We're doing this through our anti-stigma campaign, Time to Change Wales.
Statutory Sick Pay
Statutory Sick Pay isn't good enough. No one should pay such a high price for having to take time off sick for their mental health. We're campaigning to change it.
How to get involved
Mind campaigners work with us to campaign for a better deal for people with mental health problems.
As a Mind campaigner, you might sign petitions, write to your MP, or share your experiences of mental health.
Whatever you do, you'll fight to improve mental health for people in Wales.
