Mental health in the manifestos

Over the past few weeks you’ve campaigned with us to make sure that whoever forms the next Government puts mental health at the heart of its agenda. And it’s made a real impact: all of the parties have focused on mental health in their manifestos.

We’ve pulled together a summary of the key commitments they have made, but it’s not exhaustive – there’s more on the NHS more broadly, and on welfare, employment, human rights and equalities in their full manifestos.

Join us and take action

Recent years have seen real progress in attitudes towards mental health and some investment and improvements in our services, but in many areas of the country services are still poor and many of us lack the essential support that is necessary for our full participation in society.

Send our manifesto to your local parliamentary candidates and ask them to prioritise mental health if they are elected.
