Volunteer at your local shop

Mind shops are supported by our amazing volunteers. They're a dedicated bunch who help us ensure that every one of us with a mental health problem has somewhere to turn to for advice and support.

Whether it's sorting and pricing clothes, making sales or getting creative on the shop floor, there's plenty you can do to help out.

There's no need for volunteering to be a big, time-consuming commitment either - even an hour a week could make a huge difference.

By joining one of our teams, you will:

  • Learn new skills
  • Gain qualifications
  • Meet new people
  • Build your confidence.

Volunteer benefits

  • 25% discount on all donated items in store
  • free Mind membership
  • the opportunity to complete National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs), and
  • the chance to gain new skills and experience in different roles in retail.
