About the Isle of Wight Ultra Challenge

Great challenges need great settings - and none are better than the Isle of Wight's coastal path. 2,000 adventurers of all experience levels will walk, jog or run the Isle of Wight Challenge in 2025.

You can pick your distance, with 10 miles, 25k, 50k, 75k and 100k to choose from!

The route goes along the spectacular southern cliffs, past the iconic Needles and up to historic Cowes. For Full Island challengers, you'll cover the cliffs of Ventnor, and get back to base camp in Chale after an epic 106k journey.

You can walk, jog or run as an individual or a team.

How much does it cost to sign up to the Isle of Wight Challenge?

There are 3 ways to sign up for the Isle of Wight Challenge.

Option 1 - fundraise for Mind, and we'll cover the cost of your place

As Mind are an official partner, you get a 50% discount on the ‘Full Sponsorship’ registration fee.

This means you pay a small registration fee, do lots of fundraising, and we cover the cost of your event place:

  • If you do 106k - your registration fee will be £25, and you'll fundraise at least £575
  • If you do 82k - your registration fee will be £22.50, and you'll fundraise at least £475
  • If you do 52k - your registration fee will be £20, and you'll fundraise at least £375
  • If you do 25k - your registration fee will be £15, and you'll fundraise at least £275
  • If you do 10 miles - your registration fee will be £10, and you'll fundraise at least £100

Option 2 - do some fundraising, and cover some costs yourself

Or, you can pay for half of the registration fee yourself. We'll pay for the other half, and you'll need to do a bit of fundraising.

  • If you do 106k - your registration fee will be £110, and you'll fundraise at least £330
  • If you do 82k - your registration fee will be £90, and you'll fundraise at least £270
  • If you do 52k - your registration fee will be £75, and you'll fundraise at least £225
  • If you do 25k - your registration fee will be £50, and you'll fundraise at least £150
  • If you do 10 miles - your registration fee will be £22.50, and you'll fundraise at least £70

Option 3 - you cover the costs yourself

In this option, you pay the full cost of the event place. And you can fundraise however much you'd like.

  • If you do 106k - your registration fee will be £199
  • If you do 82k - your registration fee will be £169
  • If you do 52k - your registration fee will be £139
  • If you do 25k - your registration fee will be £89
